Can anyone remember these boulders that were dumped on the dock in George Town? NOW THAT WAS A BREACH. They remained there until this page advocated for their removal. Now, here is their present resting place. Does anyone know what is happening at the proposed Hooper's Bay Marina, their final resting place?

Right now in Exuma this gentleman's licence to sell seafood at the Fish Fry has reportedly been revoked because of some breach. We want to know if his breach is wider or longer or deeper than any of the other breaches that occur on Exuma on a daily basis. One being giving permission to build on the seabed in Georgetown. Exuma is a town that thrives on breaches

On the 24th October 2024 Fix Exuma brought to light concerns over corruption in the customs department of Exuma. Finally, the chickens have come home to roost. Mrs Williams is finally being brought to justice. https://www.facebook.com/share/1BgpKqYMob/

MANY, MANY PERSONS IN MANY AREAS OF EXUMA HAVE REACHED OUT TO THIS FB PAGE AS A LAST RESORT AS THEIR CRIES FOR JUSTICE AND REDRESS GO UNHEEDED FOR YEARS AND MONTHS

We are now hearing unrest and woes and horror stories coming from a group of young entrepreneurs in Exuma, Custom Brokers.
We are following their story.

Is our government serious???? As the PM addresses the IPCC about the dangers faced by SIDS in this climate crisis on Exuma in Rolle Town persons have received approval to cut down and dig up mangroves that offer protection against storm surges. Will we EVER be serious????

We want to send a big thank you out to Nekera Taylor Rahming Local Government Representative for the Moss Town area. She has been working assiduously to clean up the Moss Town area. One area that she did clean up was the road located in the back of the Moss Town Primary School that leads to the dock. She was assisted by the children of Moss Town Primary......BUT A FEW WEEKS LATER, HERE IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE....... It has been reported that some of the persons dumping garbage there illegally are persons who some of us pay to have trash removed from our property. .....POLICING AND ENFORCEMENT ARE NEEDED!!!! We must have funds to clean up our communities of derelict vehicles and put surveillance in place to prevent future dumping!!!!

We send out a big thank you to Oris Bowleg of our Exuma and Ragged Island Group for cleaning up the heritage site in Hermitage. We have a new start with the tombs in Hermitage. Can LG commit to keeping it clean and getting new signage from MOT or AMMC? What we need is a substantive cultural heritage trail on Exuma that taxis can comfortably take guests to and maybe even have vendors at various sites. That is what sustainable tourism is all about. These are the cultural heritage sites on Exuma that can be monetize by persons in the tour industry....
Pompey
Hermitage
Rolle Town tombs
Salt beacon
Plantation in Williams Town
We need to commit to seeing that they are brought up to a respectable standard.

On Exuma we eagerly await the coming of Beaches to replace Sandals. We understand that Beaches may open in 2029. All is quiet on Exuma after the Family Island Regatta and the departure of most boaters. We await the various homecomings to bring more people to the island to give it an economic boost.

This is what the Exuma we know and love is all about: the intergenerational transmission of knowledge. Save your coppice forest and the medicinal plants that it contains. Stop unchecked development until you KNOW!!!

We congratulate Mr Cooper on his new appointment as MOE. We know that education will get your full attention just as the whole of Exuma did in these last 4.5 years. You will have education progressing in the same manner that George Town and L N Coakley High are. Education will be booming like Williams Town and ALL of the Monuments on Exuma. We have full confidence in your hard work, moral standing and commitment. Under your leadership we WILL get a new primary school for GT. All of the best sir.
