Today the 49th Company of Boys' Brigades, did sentry duty at the Home Going Celebration of our Deaconess Marialia Maya Acelouis at Freeport Bible Church, G.B. May her precious soul RIP.

The officers of the 49th Company of Boys' Brigades, Freeport, Grand Bahama conducted a parade inspection. Captain TE Barry, Lt. J. Sands, Lt. L. Barry and Warrant Officer M. Bowe were the inspectors.

The 49th Company of Boys' Brigades, Freeport Bible Church, Grand Bahama, Bahamas, had their first Uniform inspection, since their reinstallment. Each brigadier was inspected from head to toe. The objective of the monthly inspection is to ensure that the Brigadiers are taking care of their uniforms and to instill discipline. The inspectors were Capt. T.E Barry, Lt. J. Sands, Lt. L. Barry and Warrant Officer M. Bowe.

On Friday 20th March 2026 the 49th Company of Boys' Brigades had another guest speaker. Ms. Shantel Adderley a Marine Pilot who shares with the boys the need for males in the Martime field. She said that it is a rewarding career and you can travel the world.

The 49th Company of Boys' Brigades, congratulates Junior boy Malachi Bullard, who came 3rd over all in the district for 2024/2025 with the highest GPA for Grade 6 in Math at Freeport Primary School.

Sergeant Rolle did a series of role plays on Conflict Resolution. She showed a slide presentation on a key point for problem solving.

On Friday, the 6th of March, 2026 woman sergeant 2872 Crayanna Rolle of the R. B. P. F, Grand Bahama, visited the 49th Company of Boys' Brigades to give a speech on "Conflict Resolution." She taught the boys how to identify and solve conflict with others. She was enthusiastically received by the Brigadiers.

On Friday 13th February, 2026 the 49th Company received a visit from Constable Hakeem Pinder of the Royal Bahamas Police Force. He spoke to the boys about Conflict Resolution. He was well received by the boys. He promised to return in the future.
