DISTINGUISHED HONOURS ✨

One of the most exciting highlights of the DCM was the recognition of two of our very own outstanding leaders!

For the 2024–2025 Kiwanis year, DP Carla Russell was awarded the title of Distinguished President, and DP Anita Sweeting was awarded the title of Distinguished Secretary.

We are incredibly proud of their dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence in service. Their achievements are a true reflection of the impact and strength of our Kiwanis family. 💙

Please join us in celebrating these remarkable accomplishments! 🎉

KCF Bahamas turned up the energy with an unforgettable Social Night! 🎉

Members partied the night away, enjoying great music, laughter, and fellowship. It was the perfect way to unwind, strengthen bonds, and celebrate the spirit of Kiwanis beyond the meeting room.

Moments like these remind us that while we serve with purpose, we also cherish the connections that make our Kiwanis family so special. 💙

Following the DCM, we proudly took part in a meaningful service project at the Rand Nature Center. 🌱

Together, we planted a Gold Coconut Tree; symbolizing growth, sustainability, and our ongoing commitment to serving our community and protecting our environment. It was a rewarding experience to give back in such a tangible and lasting way.

Service is at the heart of everything we do, and this project was a beautiful reminder of the impact we can make when we work together. 💙

With hearts full of gratitude, we reflect on the powerful and spirit-filled 2nd Annual Prayer Breakfast held this past Saturday. It was truly a divine encounter—an atmosphere saturated with worship, unity, and the undeniable presence of God.

We were richly blessed by the anointed words shared by Prophetess Jasmin Dareus and Bishop Kermit Saunders. Through them, God ministered deeply, reminding us of His faithfulness, His power, and the importance of steadfast prayer.

We also extend heartfelt appreciation to our Director, Claire, whose servant leadership and unwavering dedication allowed this vision to come to life. Her labor of love did not go unnoticed, and we are grateful for the grace and excellence she carried throughout the planning and ex*****on of this blessed gathering.

To all who attended, may the seeds sown continue to grow, and may we walk boldly in faith, strengthened and renewed in spirit. 🙏✨

The Kiwanis Club of Freeport was proud to host an engaging and informative session for university students at the University of the Bahamas, highlighting the mission and impact of Kiwanis International.

Students were given insight into what Kiwanis stands for—service, leadership, and community—and how joining such an organization provides opportunities to grow, give back, and make a meaningful difference. From leadership development to lifelong connections, the session emphasized why Kiwanis is more than just a club—it’s a movement of service-driven individuals committed to improving the world, one community at a time.

A special thank you to our very own SLP Chair Sanfra and Assistant District Administrator Lamado Bowe for leading such an engaging session.

We look forward to welcoming the next generation of leaders into the Kiwanis family! 💙🌍💛

The Kiwanis Club of Freeport is proud to share that we have donated 331 books to Freeport Primary School and Jack Hayward Junior High School within our community! 📚✨

The excitement on the children’s faces was truly priceless—smiles, laughter, and eager hands reaching for new stories made this moment unforgettable. Seeing their joy reminded us just how powerful the gift of reading can be.

This initiative reflects our continued commitment to literacy, education, and empowering young minds. By placing books into the hands of students, we are helping to inspire a love for reading and support academic growth across our island.

A special thank you to YCPO Chair Ronique and SLP Chair Sanfra for collaborating and pulling off such a meaningful project!

Together, through service and dedication, we are building a brighter future—one book at a time. 💙📖 💛
