James Catalyn and Friends is pure Bahamian and takes great pride in keeping Bahamian culture alive through their many and varied performances. oet and actor James Catalyn. The troupe was born in 1979 and continues on with new generations of actors and directors. Several of the original members are still active in the cast and many lend their support behind the scenes. Successive generations of cast members work closely together holding true to the past while embracing the future. Whether feature length or one act plays, skits and poetry, folklore and cultural r***es the group has continued with tradition and stages several shows a year. "Guard our heritage. Speak Bahamianese!
