Ruth's Animal Shelter is a project that saves animals from the streets of Rocinha, Brazil's largest favela community in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Favela Adventures tourism agency since 2017 has donated monthly to support Ruth’s animals.

Fuzzy is now living at the animal shelter because he feels more comfortable being an outdoor kitty. But I miss him so much.

More cats spayed and neutered. Sometimes Ruth forgets to send photos to update her work.

Fuzzy injured his back left paw and Ruth took him to the vet to get checked up on. She got him medicine to prevent infection and gauze with cream to keep the wound clean. The last foto shows Fuzzy’s paw healed up.
