Certificates of appreciation as rewards for Volunteerism Effort
Volunteerism is giving time and effort to help others without expecting anything in return. For Kiwanis Clubs, it's the backbone of our projects, especially for the vulnerable children and community welfare. By volunteering, kiwanis club members show compassion and dedication, making a real difference in peoples' lives. It's all about serving others, building stronger communities, and creating a ripple effect of kindness.
Due to our volunteerism efforts in various projects such as:
1. Read and Write Initiative for slow and non-readers in the elementary grades of Chrysanthemum Vill Elem School, San Pedro City, Laguna
2. Bug project in which our club contributed medals for the outstanding pupils at Rosario Complex Elementary School, San Pedro City, Laguna
3. Celebrating Christmas for the vulnerable children of Sitio Maligaya, San Pedro City, Laguna
4. Fire Safety and Earthquake Education held at Rosario Complex Elem School, San Pedro City Laguna
5. Fire Safety Education held at OurLady of Assumption College, San Pedro City, Laguna
6. Clean-Up Drive service at Rosario Complex, San Pedro City, Laguna
7. " Masayang Kaarawan" for those who have never experienced their birthday celebration since birth.
Due to the volunteerism efforts of Kiwanis Club Amethyst Dreamers of Chrysanthemum Village, we were one of the recepients of certificates of appreciation during the Gawad Bigkis held at Rosario Complex Elem. School and Gawad Galing held at Chrysanthemum Vill. San Pedro City, Laguna , respectively.
Receiving certificates of recognition boosted our morale, motivated us to do more and strengthened our sense of purpose. It's a nice keepsake to look back on. But mostly, the real reward is the impact we've made in our community.
The feeling of pride receiving certificates of appreciation is totally worth it. It's like, we've made a difference. It keeps the volunteer spirit alive!!!
