The spirit of compassion and unity came alive as our 1st year and 2nd year Tourism students joined in a meaningful cause led by the 3rd year Tourism students through their MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) event.

Through this simple yet heartfelt act, we shared not just food, but also smiles, warmth, and hope with the community. Each meal served became a reminder that kindness, no matter how small, can make a big difference in someone’s day.

This event showcased the essence of teamwork and service, proving that when Tourism students unite for a purpose, we create not only memorable events but also lasting impacts on people’s lives.

The College of International Tourism Management is celebrating the National Tourism Week 2025.
and participating in the World Tourism Day themed: Tourism and Sustainable Tourism Transformation.
It was promulgated through the issuance of Proclamation No. 894, which was approved by then-President Fidel V. Ramos. Its purpose was to “instill national consciousness on tourism as an instrument of progress,” and it enjoined the Department of Tourism to come up with activities for the said week-long event.
Moreover, in commemorating "The Tourism Act of 2009,"
Declares tourism as an indispensable element of the national economy and an industry of national interest and importance, which must be harnessed as an engine of socioeconomic growth and cultural affirmation to generate investment, foreign exchange, and employment, and to continue to mold an enhanced sense of national pride for all Filipinos.
BSITM students will conduct a week-long celebration and showcase their skills in different activities, situating the tourism and hospitality industry, which was ratified and supported by the academic council and the school president.

Today, we honor the life and sacrifice of Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., whose courage and unwavering love for our country became a turning point in Philippine history. His fight for freedom, truth, and democracy continues to remind us that real change requires bravery, selflessness, and the willingness to stand up for what is right, even in the face of great danger. As we commemorate his legacy, may we be inspired to uphold the values of justice, integrity, and unity, principles that he gave his life for. Ninoy once said, “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝 𝙙𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧.” Today, let us prove that the Filipino is also worth living for, serving for, and fighting for.
