This little girl is one of Delta's feral kittens. She is approximately 6 months old, and being fostered until she gets her shots and spayed. She is also learning how to be a little more social. But she needs a name! Let us here you name ideas!

So true 🙂

So this guy we call Dave has decided to live in our porch and since he is going in to get neutered we decided to let him stay. He was extremely feral when we first met him but is now rather sweet. He can not live in my home as he will fight with my babies so unfortunately the porch is all he can have. He looks comfortable considering it’s quite cold out there .

WARNING-***Graphic photo****

NEW UPDATE: Our little girl came through surgery well. The amputation went well, and no infection left behind...all edges were clear. She woke up well, if back to being a bit growly, but she is doing well so far! She will stay in critical care on pain meds and antibiotics for now. We are thrilled thus far...fingers remain crossed!!
Many thanks to the couple who realized this little girl needed help and trapped her, to the folks at Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre (that's where the people who found her called first) for contacting us, to the folks at Lennox & Addington Animal Hospital for seeing her right away and getting meds started and her care begun, to Missy Hull for doing the driving this morning, and to the folks at Richmond Veterinary Clinic, particularly Dr. DeMille, who agreed to do the surgery today!
After surgery pics added below...she is still groggy in them!

UPDATE - Surgery is underway!!! And a few more pics for you!

There are lots of kitties to update and things to tell you about...but at the moment this little girl is the most critical.
She is about 7 to 8 weeks old. She was part of a feral family, but the mum and other kittens have disappeared - possibly they have moved on and abandoned her or worse.
She is badly injured. And the injury is badly infected. You can smell her coming. She is missing bits of her leg and foot, bones are exposed and infection has set in.
She has been put on antibiotics and pain medication plus been given flea meds and a deworm.
The infection has spread to the bone so we must get the leg amputated as soon as possible or she will not make it.
We will be trying to make those arrangements as quickly as we can, but we need your financial support to help this little girl.
Please donate if you can.
Details to donate are on our website at https://napaneecommunitykittenrescue.ca/donate/
There are several options there - as well as email transfers etc.
Our mailing address is 2249 County Road 11, Selby Ontario K0K 2Z0
If you need more info please message us.

Hey all, I wanted to post these pics of a little kitty I brought in this summer. She was very sick and due to that her sneezing and her upper respiratory infection she ended up having huge eyes issues. At one point we thought she was gonna loose it. The vet also recommended giving her a surgery to remove the eye. We decided to try new eye drops as she was on medication and drops for several weeks. The new drops seemed very slow on making a difference but I stuck with them and made sure she had what she needed as well as giving her a supplement to boost her immune system. It was a long struggle in hopes that if she went blind she would still be able to keep her eye. Then finally her eye slowly cleared up and now she is perfect as well as her eye. So if this happens and it seems endless and not a lot of progress stick with it cause hopefully in the end you will have great success like this sweet girl. Everyone truly thought she was gonna loose her eye or at the least need the surgery to remove it. I just believed there was a chance and I had to try before taking that route so thankfully I did cause look at her now 🙂🙂🙂🙂
