🌧️🌳 Smart Streets Start from the Ground Up

Urban resilience begins with how we manage water. This bio-retention system—an engineered tree pit—does more than just hold a tree. It’s a living, layered stormwater filter, designed to clean and slow runoff from city streets.

Here’s how it works:
✔️ Stormwater from roads flows into the pit
✔️ Vegetation and reeds trap debris and absorb pollutants
✔️ Filter layers of sandy loam and fine sand remove contaminants
✔️ Tree roots and biological processes enhance purification
✔️ A gravel reservoir with drainage pipes temporarily holds excess water before slowly releasing it back into the system

💧 Safer streets. Cleaner water. Greener cities.

This isn’t just infrastructure—it’s green infrastructure: a sustainable tool that improves water quality, enhances urban biodiversity, and adds shade and beauty to our built environment.
