At Armonía, we believe it can. Stories have the power to connect, raise awareness, and inspire action to protect the species that share our territory.

That’s why we have joined forces with Bolivia Lab 2026 – “Stories in Flight”, an initiative that promotes film and audiovisual creation as tools for telling stories about our biodiversity, with a special focus on Bolivia’s endemic and threatened bird species.

Through this partnership, we want our birds to reach the screen too—and for their stories to inspire us to protect them.

For the third consecutive year, the partnership between Armonía and Laboratorios Bagó de Bolivia is delivering meaningful results for the conservation of the Red-fronted Macaw. 🦜🌿

In 2026, Asociación Armonía received Bs 205,285 from Laboratorios Bagó de Bolivia to strengthen conservation efforts for the Red-fronted Macaw, an endemic species of Bolivia’s inter-Andean dry valleys that is Critically Endangered. This marks the third consecutive year of support from Bagó, driven by its commitment to allocate 5% of sales from its 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘅 𝗧𝗼𝘀 product to the conservation of this species.

This contribution comes in a particularly special year for Armonía, as we celebrate 30 years of working to conserve Bolivia’s birds and their habitats. 💚 It is a gift that inspires us to keep joining forces and working toward a future where the Red-fronted Macaw can thrive.

Across the Isiboro-Sécure and Oeste del Río Mamoré Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs), seven local organizations are joining forces to advance biodiversity conservation and contribute to the well-being of their communities. Indigenous people, producers, youth, and local organizations are coming together around a shared commitment to nature.

This alliance strengthens the work already being carried out by these organizations through flexible funding and ongoing support to develop solutions that respond to local realities. The partnerships were formalized through agreements between the local organizations and Armonía as part of Nature’s Heartbeat. In the Oeste del Río Mamoré, Yacuma Province Sub-Governor Marco Antonio Rodríguez Suárez expressed his support for this collaboration.

Nature’s Heartbeat is a joint project of Armonía Bolivia, A Rocha Ghana , Ecotrust , NTFP - EP Philippines Asia and IUCN NL. The project is made possible by the Postcode Lottery.

🎬 Our chapter of our story story began with a question: how could we prevent Bolivia’s most threatened birds from disappearing?

After 30 years, we are confident that our work has contributed to tangible changes in bird conservation in Bolivia and to the well-being of the communities that share their landscapes with these species.

This is one part of the story we want to share with you.

📖 Before it became an organization, Armonía was an idea. And behind that idea were people who decided to make it a reality.

Thirty years of conservation are not built overnight. They are built by understanding ecosystems, working alongside local communities, and developing solutions that can endure over time.
Today, we invite you to discover our story.
