Centre de formation Liweitari is an NGO with focus on education and developement work in northern Benin, Westafrica

We believe one of the most effective ways of development work is education. And by that helping the people to help themselves. We equip up to 50 students with the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful craftsmen, and to boost the local economy. Along with the professional training a sense for environmental protection and environmental dependancies is raised. Energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and climate optimized architecture are a few of the topics in class.

Jahresversammlung des Vereins Liweitari Schweiz:

Heinrich Roth und Elisabeth Roth berichten vom Fortschritt im Benin, wo wir Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe leisten indem wir Berufs- und andere Bildung nach Schweizer Vorbild anbieten. Damit wird Armut in Benin effizient und effektiv bekämpft, und jungen Menschen die Chance auf eine bessere Zukunft ermöglicht!

Aktuell sind 228 Lernende am CFL in Natitingou, Benin in Ausbildung, und es werden 49 Mitarbeiter Beschäftigt.
2025 durften 36 Lehrabgänger ihr Diplom entgegennehmen. Sie gehören damit zu den gefragtesten Fachkräfte im Lande!
