MenEngage Burundi, in collaboration with Sonke Gender Justice, recently organized a training on integrating the Gender Transformative Approach (GTA) and the MenCare program into the activities of MenEngage member organizations in Burundi.
This initiative aimed to strengthen the capacity of actors committed to advancing gender equality, engaging men and boys positively, and preventing gender-based violence.
👉 Through this training, member organizations of MenEngage Burundi are now better equipped to:
Mainstream the gender transformative approach in their interventions,
Promote positive and equitable masculinities,
Encourage men’s co-responsibility in caregiving, parenting, and family life,
Strengthen the collective impact of the network for a more just and equal society.
