👨‍👦 Becoming a Father with Osteogenesis Imperfecta
Fatherhood is a unique journey for every man, but for those living with , it comes with its own challenges and joys.

Stefan Buitenhuis from the Netherlands, shares his personal experience hopes, and practical advice for men with OI who want to become fathers, from navigating health concerns to embracing parenthood fully.

«If I did have the chance, I would want my child not to have OI. That possibility exists through IVF with embryo selection. It’s not that I think I shouldn’t exist or that OI is bad. But I had a lot of pain as a child, and I would find it very hard to see my own child suffer like that.»

For OI treatment, in Kijabe-Kenya

Goodmorning! Here are directions to our clinic.
1.If you are driving from town, take Ojijo road then join Parklands road. We are a hundred meters (approximately) from MP Shah Hospital on Parklands road on the right hand-side of the road. If you are driving from Westlands, we are a little past Mayfair Hotel on the left hand side of the road past Total Petrol Station.

2.If you are using public transport from town, take a Matatu Number 118 from Koja Stage and ask to be dropped at Impala Hotel. We are directly opposite the hotel. If you are using public from Westlands, take a Matatu 118 close to Sarit Centre and ask to be dropped off at Mayfair Suites. We are on 3rd floor of Mayfair Suites.

Remember, our doctors are available ever Monday-Orthopedic Clinic and Tuesday-Pain Clinic from 8:00a.m to 5:00p.m. Feel free to give us a call on 0733790421 to make any inquiries or bookings.
