Today was the day we had been waiting for.
"Nawe Wokwiga — Even You Can Go to School.”
Today, we witnessed something much bigger than the giving of exercise books. Nawe Wokwiga was never just about school supplies; it was about giving love to a child, restoring hope to a family, and building a legacy that will transcend generations.
Today, hundreds of students and parents preparing to send their children back to school were filled with smiles, laughter, and hope. For some, what may look like a simple exercise book is a reminder that someone believes in them, Someone cares about their futures, and their dream matters.
We were honored to welcome the cheif of zone Busangana, accompanied by the person in charge of Education and Communication, as well as directors from different schools. Their presence allowed them to witness and testify to what the Lord is doing through this initiative.
As the visionary of Youth Hope for Tomorrow, I was humbled to have the opportunity to speak, encourage, and remind our children and community from Jeremiah 1:5 — that before we were born, God already knew us and had a purpose for our lives.
Standing before those children today reminded me of why we started.
Every child deserves hope.
Every child deserves the opportunity to go to school.
And sometimes, changing a life begins with something as simple as an exercise book placed into the hands of a child.
I am deeply grateful to Dreaming for Change, Nice Fashion, Milkaura Creations, Haraka Campany, and every family, friends, who has contributed to making sure that Nawe Wokwiga continues to live.
You are not simply supporting a project. You are investing in dreams, future and hope, Because of you, children smiled today, Because of you, another chapter of this beautiful story has been written.
