Today our cloud superstar pushed the start button of a massive cloud transformation for the entire university organisation.

New mindset, new opportunities and new exciting challenges are waiting.

Daniel started with cloud native transformation strategy, architecture, best practises and delivery methods.

We also discover new orchestration systems for automating application deployment, scaling, and management.

What is service mesh and why should we use it. Streamline operational efficiency. How we can accelerate development velocity and increasе developer productivity.

K8S Cluster monitoring tools, Deployments, DevOps culture, SRE and delivery standards.

On-Demand Provisioning via CLI or UI, Secure Isolation and many many more...

Daniel also demonstrated data science tools and how we can leverage the powers of TPUs in containerised environment. More specifically JupyterHUB and how our data science team can benefit from it.

Stay tuned for more...

Hi Everyone,

Registration for Hash Code 2020 was set to close today...but we’ve decided to keep it open a little longer in case you have any teammates who still need to register.

We will now close registration on Wednesday, February 19 at 11:00 UTC. This is the *absolute latest* contestants can sign up, so don’t miss out and encourage your friends, classmates, and colleagues to register as soon as they can!

Here are a few more reminders while we’re at it:

1. Form a team (required)
Your team must be formed in the Judge System before the start of the Online Qualification Round (17:30 UTC on February 20). If you have not formed a team in the Judge System by this time, you will not be eligible to participate in Hash Code. If you’re having issues accessing the Judge System, please review the Judge System FAQ section of our website.

2. Solve the practice problem
We don’t want your team to lose any time during the Online Qualification Round, so please be sure to familiarize yourself with the Judge System before then. If you’d like to practice, there is a practice round with an example problem configured in the Judge System. If you have questions about the practice problem, please review the Practice Problem FAQ section of our website.

3. Select a hub (optional)
Want to add a bit of extra fun and excitement to the Online Qualification Round? Compete from one of the 700+ Hash Code hubs taking place around the world! You have until the start of the Online Qualification Round to select your hub, but we’d encourage you do this as soon as you can.

4. Confirm the competition start time
Remember that the timezone listed for the Online Qualification Round on our website is in Universal Time Coordinated (UTC). Please be sure to convert UTC to your local timezone so you don’t miss out.

If you have any other questions about Hash Code, check out our FAQ. Best of luck with your final preparations!

Cheers,
The Hash Code team
