Been to a few charity shops today .###

Ruby's turn today to be speyed.
She was very good considering she is quite nervous.
She tested positive for ticks disease so a course of doxycycline.
She is recovering at Maria's house.
Today cost 106 euros.
Thank you to those who donated for her , especially Wayne Hurton who donated towards her care in memory of a dear friend, Peter Hodgson who passed away recently.###

A very very big thank you to Maxine Sutton for arranging a cheese and wine night, with a raffle, bingo etc.
She has raised 335 euros.
With the proceeds being donated to Miaplus7 for spey and nuetering , flea and tick treatment and any medicines needed.
It's very much appreciated and will go a long way to help.

Well, quite incredible. The mother of the poisoned pups has returned, she disappeared with some other dogs and cats on the same day. We presumed she was dead as sometimes street dogs when ill wander off and pass away.
We are going to get her speyed on Tuesday, she will go somewhere safe to recover but unfortunately she will have to go back on the street, there's just nowhere for her to go. We and others will feed her and keep an eye on her.
Fingers crossed she will be okay but at least she will have no more pups
Her name in Ruby.###

Summer's turn today to be speyed.
Had a muzzel on her as we were not sure how she would react to everything. She was perfect, no aggression, fear whatsoever.
She tested positive for ticks disease so a course of doxycycline.

Update on Summer. She is settling in well, next a bath then she will be speyed. ###

Meet Summer,
We have decided to take her in due to the problems in the village and today a complaint was made to have her taken away and probably destroyed.
We've moved the pups to Sarah's kennel, she is now with the pack but will sleep in the recovery kennel and Summer is in the pups kennel and run.

Trigger warning.
This is why we need to get this dog a safe place to live.
A mother and her pups poisoned yesterday, at least 5 dogs and 4 cats poisoned on the road out of the village. There is some crazy person in the village doing this.
