Retour sur la conférence « Avocats et convictions visibles : discutons‑en ! », organisée au Palais de justice par la Conférence du Jeune Barreau de Bruxelles (.brussels) et la Commission Diversité & Inclusion.
La soirée portait sur l’interdiction du port de signes convictionnels (religieux, politiques et/ou philosophiques) dans l'avocature, et sur les implications que cela peut avoir pour l’accès à la profession pour certaines personnes.

Parmi les pistes évoquées lors des échanges : la toque, présentée comme une option possible dans certains contextes.

Yet too many people still face comments, judgments, or micro‑aggressions related to their hijab, afro hair, locs, accents, names, or other visible expressions of who they are.
These experiences shape careers, confidence, and access to opportunities.

At Be.Face, we believe that no one should have to hide parts of themselves to be accepted or considered “professional”.
Through our mentoring programmes, we bring together students, job seekers, and professionals to build workplaces where inclusion isn’t a slogan, it’s a practice.
