Last month, Heraklion hosted one of COREnet’s European Roadshows, built around a question with growing resonance: how can multifunctional agriculture support short food supply chains?

We're getting ready for the next Advisinar, and this time it will look a little different: more intimate, more informal, and led by network members themselves.

CORENET was showcased at the Global Agritourism Network Conference, organized by Scottish Agritourism 🙌

The event offered valuable insight into how different countries are approaching agritourism and confirmed that, in many parts of the world, it is no longer seen as just a tourism service, but as one of the fastest-growing sectors of the rural economy.

In this context, Katalin Kujáni i had the chance to present the opportunities and limitations of the Hungarian regulatory framework for agritourism, as well as the work carried out within CORENET.

🌱 Short food supply chains require specific advisory competences.
This was the central message of the presentation held at the 8th International ISEKI-Food Conference by Artur Filipe Gregório from Associação In Loco and Sofia Reis from the ISEKI-Food Association.

During the conference, the joint work of COREnet and EU4Advice Project in strengthening European advisory networks for sustainable short food supply chains was introduced.
