By highlighting place-based transport initiatives, programs, and the vital role of Cohesion Policy, our panels demonstrated practical ways to bridge the - divide and ensure no community is left behind.

🔹 Key takeaway: Inclusive mobility, in both small and large and cities alike, remains a core pillar of Europe’s strength and resilience.

Yesterday, our first session of took place! Moderated by Matjaž Dragar, Director-General at the Ministry of Local Self-Government, Cohesion and Regional Development (Ministrstvo za lokalno samoupravo, kohezijo in regionalni razvoj), the session focused on how can turn and transitions into durable competitiveness and stronger social cohesion!

We explored converting local assets and strengths into inclusive, resilient growth that creates , attracts , and narrows territorial gaps, especially in rural areas. 🔋 Join us in Brussels during European Hydrogen Week for the Vanguard Initiative Pilot Summit, bringing together regional authorities, representatives, organisations and ecosystems from across to explore opportunities for collaboration and the development of hydrogen value chains!

📍 Venue: Permanent Representation of the Republic of Slovenia to the EU

💡 The programme will focus on three key areas:
🔹 European Hydrogen Valleys & Mega-Corridors – cross-border infrastructure, hydrogen corridors and European partnerships.
🔹 Advanced Materials, Systems & Technical Innovation – next-generation hydrogen components, materials research, pilot testing and technology centres.
🔹 Smart Local Systems, Digital Twins & Autonomy – smart energy systems, local energy communities, digital twins, AI-driven management and regional energy autonomy.

The summit will also feature contributions from the S3 European Hydrogen Valleys Partnership and the European Commission, highlighting European initiatives, policy developments and opportunities for further cooperation.

🤝 Organised by the Slovenian Business & Research Association - SBRA, Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster, Małopolska Region and Slovene Dutch Business Platform - SDBP, the event will provide a platform to exchange ideas, strengthen interregional partnerships and shape strategic priorities for the Vanguard Initiative Hydrogen Pilot heading into 2027.

Yesterday, the Slovenian Business & Research Association - SBRA alongside LINO biuras, ZRC SAZU Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, and the EASA Applied Anthropology Network organised an engaging discussion in Brussels on one of the key questions shaping Europe's future: what happens when is fundamentally transformed by , and ? 🤖

Held at the Permanent Representation of Slovenia to the EU, the event brought together participants from the community, social and perspectives to explore how are experiencing increasing uncertainty and how European policies can better respond to these changes! The discussion highlighted the importance of putting people and lived experiences at the centre of transformation, while exploring how , and policy can contribute to more people-centred approaches to the changing market.

Med 21. in 23. septembrom 2026 je Slovensko gospodarsko in raziskovalno združenje ( ) iz Bruslja v sodelovanju z Institutom »Jožef Stefan« v Sloveniji gostilo delegacijo predstavnikov regij Jönköping, Länsstyrelsen Gotland, Länsstyrelsen Kronoberg in Kalmar ter organizacij Science Park Jönköping, Träcentrum in Campus Ljungby!

Tridnevni obisk je bil namenjen izmenjavi izkušenj in dobrih praks na področju , , digitalne preobrazbe, razvoja kompetenc in trajnostne rasti ter povezovanju slovenskih in švedskih organizacij in . Srečanja in obiski so ponudili tudi priložnost za navezovanje novih stikov ter iskanje konkretnih možnosti za prihodnje sodelovanje!

🏆 Zadnji poziv k prijavi za Evropsko za 2026!

Razvijate inovativni projekt za zaščito ali drugih opraševalcev ter ohranjanje biotske raznovrstnosti? Evropska za čebele nagrajuje izjemne in učinkovite projekte na področju varstva opraševalcev po vsej .

Za nagrado se lahko prijavijo , lastniki zemljišč, raziskovalni inštituti, akademske ustanove ter zasebne in javne organizacije.

Štiri kategorije:
• upravljanje zemljišč
• inovativne tehnološke in digitalne rešitve
• aktivnosti skupnosti
• biološke rešitve

Žirija bo izbrala enega zmagovalca v vsaki kategoriji, eden od štirih zmagovalcev pa bo prejel glavno nagrado v višini 4.000 evrov. Vsi zmagovalci bodo deležni mednarodne prepoznavnosti prek kanalov ELO in John Deere ter povabljeni na podelitev nagrad v Bruslju.
