Media Spotlight on Menstrual Hygiene Advocacy

We are excited and deeply honored that the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) joined us to cover our Menstrual Hygiene Day program organized by Behind MaryGift Walls Foundation in collaboration with Made for More Foundation.

Their presence highlights the growing importance of conversations around menstrual health, dignity, and the empowerment of women and girls. By shining a light on this cause, NTA has helped amplify our message that menstruation is a natural part of life and that every girl deserves access to accurate information, support, and menstrual hygiene resources.

This coverage is more than media attention, it is a powerful step toward breaking stigma, promoting menstrual equity, and ensuring that the voices and experiences of women and girls are heard across our communities.
We appreciate NTA for recognizing the impact of this initiative and for helping us spread awareness.

I have just been informed about the situation in Oyo state Nigeria 🇳🇬

Students and teachers are still being held, and families are living through days of uncertainty and fear. Every passing day adds more weight to what they are already carrying.

Made 4 More as an organisation committed to the protection and safety of children and mothers, we cannot look away from this reality.

These are children who should be learning in safety. These are teachers who dedicated their lives to guiding and shaping young minds. Instead, their families are left waiting, hoping, and praying for their safe return.

This is bigger than one community. It speaks to the safety of our schools and the future we are building for our children.

No child should have to learn under fear. No educator should be at risk for doing their work.

I stand with the families affected and with everyone working toward the safe return of those still missing. This moment calls for continued attention, compassion, and responsibility from all of us.

Let us not grow silent. Let us not turn away.

May they return safely to their families. May strength be given to those waiting. And may we continue working toward safer schools for every child.
