১১মে ২০২৬, সোমবার, চিটাগং ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেটিং সোসাইটি এর সহযোগিতায় ও পরিবেশ অধিদপ্তর কর্তৃক চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে আয়োজিত হয় "আন্তঃবিশ্ববিদ্যালয় পরিবেশ বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা ২০২৬( চট্টগ্রাম অঞ্চল)"।

"Climate Action" প্রতিপাদ্যে আয়োজিত এ অনুষ্ঠানে অংশ নেয় নোয়াখালী বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় , কুমিল্লা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, চট্টগ্রাম প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এবং চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়। দুইটি প্রথমিক পর্বের বিতর্ক শেষে চূড়ান্ত পর্ব অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। চূড়ান্ত পর্বে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হওয়ার গৌরব অর্জন করে চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় এবং রানার্সআপ হয় চট্টগ্রাম প্রকৌশল ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়।

অনুষ্ঠানে প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক মোহাম্মদ আল-ফোরকান। বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিজ্ঞান অনুষদের ডিন অধ্যাপক মোহাম্মদ আল-আমিন, চবি আইন বিভাগের প্রফেসর ও মাননীয় মডারেটর, চিটাগং ইউনিভার্সিটি ডিবেটিং সোসাইটি, এ.বি.এম আবু নোমান, পরিবেশ অধিদপ্তর চট্টগ্রাম অঞ্চলের পরিচালক জমির উদ্দিন ও উপ-পরিচালক সেলিনা আক্তার, চবি ফার্মেসি বিভাগের সহকারী অধ্যাপক ও এসোসিয়েট মডারেটর নওরিন মনির প্রমা।

Chittagong University Debating Society is glad to announce the glorious victory of team CUDS A consisting Erfan Apurbo and Mehrab Mizan who battled through every round to become the Champions of UIU Debate Club Presents Orange IV 2026!
To our pride, Erfan Apurbo delivered a great performance and won the coveted title of Debater of the Final.

Congratulations to both debaters for this brilliant milestone. We wish them more success and many more trophies to come in the debates!

Chittagong University Debating Society is elated to declare that team CUDS, consisting of Arnab Mitra, Erfan Apurbo, and Abrar Faiyaj, won the Environment Debate 2026 (Chittagong Region).

With this win, they moved to the national level of the environment debate, which is being organized by the Department of Environment, with RUDO serving as the national co-ordinator.

We applaud the team for their sterling performance and wish them luck as they advance to the national stage.

Chittagong University Debating Society proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of team CUDS B , featuring Erfan Apurbo and Arijit Barua for becoming the Runners up of AUKO-TEX Presents তন্তুজাল: BUTEXDC Bangla BP 2026

Adding to the success, Erfan Apurbo earned Debater of the Tournament and Debater of the Final.
CUDS B also got the top break in the tournament with 12 points.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to both of them for the many achievements that lie ahead.
