Eid Mubarak from the Rohingya Youth Network (RYN)

On this sacred occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the Rohingya Youth Network (RYN) extends warm and heartfelt Eid Mubarak to the Rohingya community around the world, as well as to our partners, allies, and supporters who continue to stand with us.

Eid is a time of faith, reflection, and unity. For the Rohingya people—many of whom continue to live in displacement and uncertainty—this day carries a deep meaning. It reminds us of our resilience, our shared identity, and our enduring hope for justice, dignity, and the right to live in peace and safety.

RYN recognizes the strength and leadership of Rohingya youth who are working tirelessly to uplift their communities through education, advocacy, and collective action. Even in the most challenging circumstances, our youth continue to inspire change and keep the spirit of our community alive.

As we celebrate this blessed day, we reaffirm our commitment to amplifying Rohingya voices, strengthening youth leadership, and advocating for the rights and future of our people.

May this Eid bring peace, protection, and renewed hope to every Rohingya family across the world.
Eid Mubarak.

At the Rohingya Youth Network, we believe that educating a woman is the most powerful investment a community can make. We are proud to share that a dedicated group of Rohingya women has recently completed specialized training across various fields!
These trailblazers aren't just keeping their skills to themselves—they are actively mentoring and empowering other women among our community, creating a chain reaction of knowledge and resilience.
Why this matters:
• Knowledge Sharing: Training one woman often leads to an entire household being educated.
• Community Growth: Education is the primary key to long-term stability and progress.
• Leadership: Seeing women lead in technical and social fields inspires the next generation of Rohingya girls.
When women lead, the whole community rises. Let’s continue to break barriers and build a brighter, more equitable future together.

The Rohingya Youth Network - RYN is proud to announce the successful completion of our Early Literacy Development Program for Girls.

Through this initiative, young Rohingya girls gathered in safe learning spaces to build foundational reading and writing skills, strengthen their confidence, and rediscover the joy of education.

In communities where access to education remains limited, this program became more than just literacy classes, it became a space of hope, courage, and empowerment.

We sincerely thank our dedicated volunteers, community members, and supporters who made this achievement possible. Your commitment continues to uplift Rohingya girls and invest in a brighter future.

Together, we are shaping leaders of tomorrow.

Political Update in Bangladesh

According to early political reports and local media coverage, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has secured a strong two-thirds majority in parliament, winning 209 out of 299 seats.

This outcome positions senior BNP leader Tarique Rahman to move toward becoming the next prime minister, marking a significant shift in the political landscape of Bangladesh.

As developments continue, Rohingya youth and communities remain hopeful for policies that support peace, stability, protection, and durable solutions for refugees.

Emergency Alert | RYN Call for Action

A devastating fire has broken out in Camp 16, Shofi Ullah Khata, destroying more than 560 shelters and leaving hundreds of Rohingya families without homes, clothes, or basic necessities.

Children, women, and elderly people are now living in open areas, exposed and vulnerable. They urgently need:
🍚 Food
🏠 Temporary shelter
💊 Medicine
🧴 Essential supplies and protection

The Rohingya Youth Network (RYN) calls on humanitarian partners, donors, and the global community to act immediately and stand with the affected families.

This is a time for solidarity.
This is a time for compassion.
This is a time to save lives.

Please support and share this message so help can reach those in need. ✊

No one should face such suffering alone.

🎉 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 | 𝐑𝐘𝐍 🎉

The Rohingya Youth Network - RYN proudly extends its heartfelt congratulations to our Founder and Executive Director, Shomshud Doha for successfully completing the prestigious training on “𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗴𝗲𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵.”

This intensive and impactful online learning course (4–22 December 2025) was co-organised by the Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network (APRRN), Rohingya Youth Union (RYU) and the Institute of Human Rights and Peace Studies (IHRP), Mahidol University, three highly respected institutions at the regional and international levels. The program brought together refugee leaders and human rights advocates from across the Asia-Pacific region to strengthen leadership, advocacy skills, policy engagement and collective action for refugee rights.

Throughout this training, Shomshud Doha deepened his expertise in:

* 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗴𝗲𝗲-𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴
* 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵
* 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗺𝘀
* 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀
* 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

As a 𝗥𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘆𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗴𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿, 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗺𝘀𝗵𝘂𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗵𝗮’s participation and completion of this course is not only a personal achievement but a collective milestone for RYN and the broader Rohingya youth movement. His leadership journey reflects resilience, commitment and an unwavering dedication to justice, dignity and meaningful participation for refugees, especially youth who continue to face systemic exclusion and displacement.

Under his visionary leadership RYN has grown as a youth-led, community-driven organization, amplifying Rohingya voices at local, regional and international platforms. This training further strengthens RYN’s capacity to engage in evidence-based advocacy, rights-based programming and strategic partnerships, ensuring that refugee youth are not only beneficiaries but leaders and decision-makers in shaping their futures.

We are deeply proud of this achievement and confident that the knowledge, skills and networks gained through this program will translate into stronger advocacy, impactful leadership and sustainable change for refugee communities.

Congratulations once again to Shomshud Doha on this remarkable accomplishment.
RYN stands with you as you continue to lead with courage, integrity and purpose, turning lived experience into leadership and hope into action.

Together we rise. Together we lead. Together we advocate.
