ACS Student Chapter, SUST The American Chemical Society (ACS) is a scientific society based in the United States that supports scientific inquiry in the field of chemistry.

The ACS Student Chapter, SUST is the student community affiliated with the American Chemical Society (ACS) which is run by the students from the Department of Chemistry, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet -3114, Bangladesh. Founded in 1876 at New York University, the ACS currently has more than 155,000 members at all degree levels and in all fields of chemistry, chemical engine

ering, and related fields. The ACS is a leading source of scientific information through its peer-reviewed scientific journals, national conferences, and the Chemical Abstracts Service. The ACS has student chapters in virtually every major university in the United States and outside the United States as well. These student chapters mainly focus on volunteering opportunities, career development, and the discussion of student and faculty research. ACS Student Chapter, SUST has been founded in 2023, 4th University in Bangladesh to start ACS International Student Chapter under the guidance of faculty advisor Dr Nur Uddin Ahamad, PhD, Professor, Department of Chemistry, SUST. We are happy to announce that, we have also received a start up grant for accomplishing different chemistry related events which will be held in future. Students from Chemistry or Chemical Sciences will able to get access to the resources and opportunities offered by American Chemical Society. Our mission is to advance the broader chemistry enterprise and practitioners for benefit of the earth and all its people. This prestigious event, held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center from August 17-21, stands as one of the largest and most influential gatherings in the chemical sciences.

The ACS Fall meeting offers an unparalleled international platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and showcasing cutting-edge research.
