On July 18, 2026, we had the honor of visiting our project site at Lakhaura Tea Estate. While the tea gardens are beautiful, the real story lies in the people who tend to them. We spent the day listening to the incredible tea worker community, learning about their livelihoods, the challenges they face, and the hopes they hold close.
At Project Wricotta, we believe that climate action must be rooted in local wisdom.
As we move forward with our mission to enhance climate resilience, we are also looking back, documenting the indigenous plant knowledge and agroecological techniques that have sustained these communities for generations.
We are grateful for the warmth and openness of the community.
Here’s to preserving knowledge and carving a meaningful journey ahead!
