As the Bangladesh Chapter Leader of United for Human Rights, I am proud to share that we successfully organized several impactful activities in observance of International Human Rights Day on 10 December 2025.

This year, we also celebrated two historic milestones:
**The 77th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR)**
**The 25th Anniversary of Youth for Human Rights International (YHRI).

To honor this meaningful day, we conducted a series of activities including awareness lectures, a Human Rights March, a petition drive, booklet distribution, and youth engagement programs. Our goal was to inspire understanding, respect, and action toward protecting the fundamental rights of every human being.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all dedicated members, volunteers, and supporters whose participation made these events truly successful. Your commitment strengthens our mission to build a more just, aware, and compassionate society.

"Khondker Mustafiz Imran " Named Human Rights Champion.
​Khondaker Mustafiz Imran, the Bangladesh Chapter Leader of the international human rights organization United for Human Rights (UHR), has been selected as a Human Rights Champion. This prestigious recognition was officially conferred on November 17, 2025.
​The information was disclosed in a press release signed by the organization's Program Coordinator, Joynal Ahmed and Volunteer Coordinator, Khondaker Muhtamim Mazhar.
​Mr. Imran has been making significant contributions to society for a long time by providing effective leadership in human rights education, awareness building, and preventing human rights violations in Bangladesh. His role has been particularly praised for conducting human rights training in educational institutions, encouraging youth to protect human rights, and establishing the rights of underprivileged people.
​United for Human Rights Bangladesh Chapter expressed hope that this achievement will further strengthen Bangladesh's progress in human rights and serve as an inspiration for the country's human rights activists.
​The press release highlighted:
​"Khondaker Mustafiz Imran is a courageous leader in the fight to uphold human values, justice, and human dignity. We believe that this recognition will further energize the human rights movement in Bangladesh."
​Furthermore, the future work plan mentioned includes nationwide human rights awareness campaigns, Human Rights Education programs for teachers and students, and increased coordination with international human rights organization.

Sometimes, a small package can carry the weight of a big dream.

Today, as the Bangladesh Chapter Leader of United for Human Rights (Los Angeles, CA 90027/28, USA), I received Human Rights Booklets, T-shirts and Caps from our international headquarters.

Holding them in my hands, I felt more than pride—I felt responsibility. These booklets are not just pages; they are voices for the unheard, hope for the forgotten, and light for those living in darkness.

Every booklet we share, every conversation we spark, brings us one step closer to a world where dignity, freedom, and justice are not privileges—but rights for all.

Thank you to the UHR global family for standing beside us. The journey for human rights continues—with heart, with purpose, and with unwavering commitment.

ঘুমন্ত গাজাবাসীর উপর এরকম জঘন্য নিপীড়ন, নির্যাতন ও গণহত্যার বিরুদ্ধে তীব্র নিন্দা জানাচ্ছি,,,,,
সাথে সাথে দ্রুত গণহত্যা ও যুদ্ধবিরতির মাধমে শান্তি প্রতিষ্টিত হউক সেই আশাবাদ ব্যক্ত করছি

We strongly condemn such heinous oppression, torture and genocide against the sleeping people of Gaza,,,,,
We also express our hope that peace will be established through a quick end to the genocide and a ceasefire.
