মহান ২৬ শে মার্চ, শহীদ মুক্তিযোদ্ধা স্মৃতিস্তম্ভে বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধায় পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণ করে 'রোটার‍্যাক্ট ক্লাব অব শেরপুর' বীর শহীদদের স্মরণ করেছে।

আমরা গভীর শ্রদ্ধা ও কৃতজ্ঞতায় স্মরণ করছি সেই বীর সন্তানদের, যাঁরা দেশের জন্য তাঁদের জীবন উৎসর্গ করেছেন। আপনাদের আত্মত্যাগ আমরা কখনোই ভুলবো না।

১৬ই ডিসেম্বর মহান বিজয় দিবস উপলক্ষে রোটার‍্যাক্ট ক্লাব অব শেরপুর-এর পক্ষ থেকে শহীদ স্মৃতি স্তম্ভে পুষ্পস্তবক অর্পণের মাধ্যমে মহান মুক্তিযুদ্ধের শহীদদের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করা হয়।

এই কর্মসূচির অংশ হিসেবে উপস্থিত সদস্যদের সঙ্গে স্মরণীয় মুহূর্তগুলো ধারণ করা হয়।
মহান বিজয়ের চেতনায় উজ্জীবিত হয়ে দেশ ও মানবতার সেবায় আমাদের অঙ্গীকার অব্যাহত থাকবে।

আজকে রোটারী ক্লাব অব শেরপুর এবং রোটার‍্যাক্ট ক্লাব অব শেরপুর-এর উদ্যোগে সফলভাবে বৃক্ষরোপণ ও বিতরণ কর্মসূচি সম্পন্ন হয়েছে।

সবুজ পৃথিবী গড়ার লক্ষ্যে এই ছোট্ট পদক্ষেপকে অর্থবহ করে তুলেছেন আমাদের সম্মানিত ক্লাব সদস্যবৃন্দ ও শুভাকাঙ্ক্ষীরা।
