🎉 Textile Fest & Project Fair – 2026 🎉

Following the exciting Indoor Games competitions organized as part of Textile Fest & Project Fair – 2026, a Prize-Giving Ceremony was held to celebrate and recognize the winners. 🏆

The participants demonstrated remarkable talent, skill, presence of mind, and true sportsmanship throughout the competitions.

Prizes were awarded to the winners of the respective events. In addition, as a token of appreciation and respect, City University Textile Club presented honorary crests to the Chief Guest and Special Guests for their valuable presence and support. 🏅

𝐓𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭 & 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐅𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲

City University, September 5, 2026:
The Department of Textile Engineering at City University, Bangladesh in collaboration with the City University Textile Club, organised ‘Textile Fest & Project Fair 2026’.

The event was held at the City University Auditorium. Brig Gen Prof. Dr. Engr. Md. Lutfor Rahman (Retd.) Vice Chancellor of City University, attended the event as the Chief Guest, while Prof. Dr. Kazi Shahadat Kabir, Pro Vice Chancellor, was present as the Guest of Honour.

Treasurer Shahedujjaman Chowdhury, Registrar Lt Col M. M. Golam Mohaimen, psc, G+, (Retd.), and all the respected Deans of the university were also present at the event.

One of the main attractions of the event was the innovative project exhibition by students of the Department of Textile Engineering. The students presented projects addressing various challenges in the textile industry, technological advancements, and environmentally friendly solutions.

Engr. Md. Arifuzzaman Associate Professor & Coordinator, played an important role in the successful organisation of the event. Under his guidance, and with the support of all the faculty members of the Textile Department of Textile Engineering, City University the programme was successfully conducted.

The event was supported by Denim Solutions Ltd. Dara Technology BD SEA Properties Ltd. RNT (BD) Ltd. & Riztu Corporation. BHASHANI Machinery CO. Suzhou Yingxing Textile Co. Ltd., Hermoso Fashion and Pure Chemicals Ltd.

Later, a colourful cultural programme was held at the Central Field, with active participation from the students.
