আন্তর্জাতিক নারী দিবস – ৮ মার্চ ২০২৬ উপলক্ষে অ্যাকসেস বাংলাদেশ ফাউন্ডেশন নারী ও কন্যাশিশুদের শক্তি, নেতৃত্ব ও অবদানকে গভীর শ্রদ্ধার সাথে স্মরণ করছে। একটি অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক সমাজ গঠনের লক্ষ্যে সংস্থাটি নারী ও কন্যাশিশুদের- বিশেষ করে প্রতিবন্ধী নারী ও কন্যাশিশুদের অধিকার সুরক্ষা ও ক্ষমতায়নে কাজ করে যাচ্ছে।
এ বছরের প্রতিপাদ্য “আজকের পদক্ষেপ, আগামীর ন্যায়বিচার
সুরক্ষিত হোক নারী ও কন্যার অধিকার”। এই অঙ্গীকারকে সামনে রেখে আমরা সমতা, মর্যাদা ও সুযোগ নিশ্চিত করার জন্য সবাইকে একসাথে কাজ করার আহবান করছি।

On 26th February 2026, Access Bangladesh Foundation signed an MoU with Creative IT Institute.

Through this collaboration, youth with disabilities will gain practical skills in Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, Video Editing, Frontend Development with React, Android App Development, and other courses tailored to assessed needs, equipping them for professional careers and remote work opportunities.

Access Bangladesh Foundation will identify and prepare eligible Severe nature of youth with disabilities such as wheelchair users, youth with cerebral palsy, youth with speech and heaing disabilities, provide support for student enrollment, offer training for instructors on Disability-Inclusive Online Training Strategies, monitor and support trainees and facilitate enrollment processes. While Creative IT Institute will deliver accessible and inclusive training, provide reasonable accommodations (necessary and appropriate modifications or adjustments to training, facilities, or materials to enable trainees with disabilities to participate fully and equally), ensure quality assurance, collaborate on certificates, and offer guidance and support for potential placement opportunities.

Access Bangladesh Foundation, in collaboration with the Physically Challenged Development Foundation (PDF), a university based student organization, and with support from Internet Society Foundation, organized a career guidance session for university student with disabilities at Jahangirnagar University on 25th February 2026. The session aimed to explore different career options, including both employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, and boost confidence to empower participants toward independent and meaningful professional life. Twenty-five participants, including 3rd and 4th-year students and alumni, attended the session, which was facilitated by Mr. Albert Mollah, Executive Director, and Md. Uzzol Hosen, MEAL Coordinator from Access Bangladesh Foundation
The session provided students with guidance and insights to navigate their career paths more confidently.

অ্যাকসেস বাংলাদেশ ফাউন্ডেশন, ঢাকা ট্রিবিউন (Dhaka Tribune)-এর সহযোগিতায় এবং ইন্টারনেট সোসাইটি ফাউন্ডেশন (Internet Society Foundation)-এর সহায়তায় গত ২রা ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২৬ তারিখে "Breaking Accessibility Barriers in Online Learning Platforms for Persons with Disabilities" শীর্ষক ওয়েবিনার আয়োজন করে। এই ওয়েবিনারের মূল লক্ষ্য ছিল প্রতিবন্ধী ব্যক্তিদের জন্য অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক ডিজিটাল শিক্ষার জরুরি প্রয়োজনীয়তার ওপর গুরুত্বারোপ করা।
