Beyond Recruitment โ€” An Experience to Remember for the First Time at VU. ๐ŸŽฏ

On 20 August 2026, the Business Administration Oratory Club (BAOC) successfully completed the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) as the 2nd Round of BAOC NEXTGEMS 3.0.

For the first time in BAOCโ€™s recruitment, candidates participated in an FGD-based selection process that brought ideas, communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and leadership together in a practical setting.

From analysing real club-related situations and crisis scenarios to sharing perspectives and working collaboratively, the session gave our candidates a glimpse of a professional and corporate environmentโ€”while challenging them to think critically, solve problems, and propose practical solutions for organisational and member-related issues.

From discussing short cases to sharing perspectives and working collaboratively, the session gave our candidates a glimpse of a professional and corporate environmentโ€”something beyond a traditional club recruitment experience.

Behind this successful event was the dedication, coordination, and professionalism of our incredible BAOC members, who worked together to create an organised and engaging experience for every candidate. ๐Ÿค
