Did you know that on average, individuals in Dhaka City spend around 4,000 BDT per year just to diagnose and treat symptoms associated with air pollution? This is a significant burden on our health and wallets, and it highlights the urgent need for effective measures to improve our air quality.

To tackle this pressing issue, there are critical policy recommendations that we need to advocate for. Brick kilns are major contributors to air pollution in Dhaka. By transitioning to more sustainable and less polluting alternatives, we can significantly reduce harmful emissions. Adopting cleaner technologies in industries and construction can make a big difference in reducing pollution levels. Together, we can make a difference. Clean air starts with each of us taking responsibility and pushing for the changes we need. Let’s breathe well and build a healthier Dhaka!
