Our dedicated club members recently undertook a meaningful and scenic trek to enhance the spiritual atmosphere around a local shrine. A big thank you to all the volunteers who participated and contributed their time and effort to this enriching activity. The efforts and camaraderie were significantly shown as they installed new Lungta (prayer flags) along the path around the Guru Rinpochoe's painting.

𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐢𝐦𝐝𝐫𝐨 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞

The Annual Rimdro, led by His Eminence Laytshog Lopen and monks from Lekshed Juney Shedra, was held to purify negativities and bless the college community. The event included the consecration of Guru Rinpoche’s painting and oral transmissions for students, fostering unity, faith, and spiritual growth.

FIRST PRAYER SESSION 🙏

Today, we commenced the semester with our first prayer session and general meeting. The program began with the lighting of the butter lamp, followed by a prayer session. We also took this opportunity to warmly welcome our new members to the team.

Zhabdrung Kuchoe is a significant day, marking the death anniversary of Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the founder of modern Bhutan. He was a spiritual luminary and a visionary leader, under his leadership Dual system of government was introduced. It separated the secular and religious affairs.

The day is observed on the 10th Day of the 3rd month in the Bhutanese calendar. People commemorate Zhabdrung kuchoe by offering prayers, lighting butter lamps, and visiting sacred sites.

The club kicked off its first event in collaboration with the FloriXcape CNR club for a community cleaning campaign in Dorongthang. This initiative coincided with the month of Miracles, a significant period where Buddha manifested for 15 days to defend against the 6 drama leaders. The clean up started from 9 am and ended around noon, with some lovely refreshments from the Anim, showing our dedication to taking care of the environment and connecting with our community.

On the 18th of February 2025, the members of CNR Choechog Tshogpa came together to kick off the new semester with our first general meeting. The meeting focused on outlining the agenda for the semester, highlighting key initiatives, upcoming events, and collaborative goals that will guide our club's activities.
A significant part of the day was dedicated to the selection of our core leadership team through an online voting process. We are delighted to announce the winners who will lead Choechog Tshokpa with dedication and vision:

Media Coordinator: FO 2nd

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected core members. Your commitment and leadership will undoubtedly steer the club towards greater achievements.

On this sacred day, the CNR Choechog Tshogpa celebrated Parent’s Day, coinciding with Descending day of Lord Buddha.
We gathered to express our gratitude for the unwavering love, sacrifices, and countless blessings that mothers bestow upon us.
A simple cake-cutting ceremony and prayers filled the air with positive energy, symbolizing our wishes for eternal happiness and good health for all parents. May the divine light of the God illuminate their path and guide them towards a future filled with joy and peace.
