Shopner Khoje Foundation is a non-profit, non-communal, non-political voluntary organization established with a view to promote and ensure children's rights, aid and support marginalized people and to be of service to poverty stricken communities. They can all read Bengali, most can write their own names, and some can even write entirely constructed meaningful sentences.
◾In collaboration with th
e local authorities, we have rehabilitated a number of homeless people and beggars.
◾We have managed to stabilize the lives of 5 gypsies clans financially. And we also successfully taught and convinced them to lead a healthy and sanitary lifestyle.
◾In collaboration with the Deputy Commission of Narail, we are building latrines for gypsies clans. We are also in the process of rehabilitating them.
◾We successfully averted more than 25 prepubescent marriages and 50 marriages before the age of 18.
◾Our efforts to minimize the mass infection of covid-19 were widely successful in our work area.
