জামালপুর বিতর্ক উৎসব ১.০ - তে রানারআপ হয়েছে নজরুল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় তিন রাউন্ডের গ্রুপ পর্ব, প্রি-সেমি এবং সেমিফাইনালে দেশের বিভিন্ন স্বনামধন্য বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়কে হারিয়ে ফাইনালে যাওয়ার গৌরব অর্জন করে টিম বিদ্রোহী। দলের সদস্যরা হলেন, হাসিবুর রহমান (আইন ও বিচার বিভাগ), আব্দুল্লাহ ইসরাক লাবিব (ইংরেজি ভাষা ও সাহিত্য বিভাগ), কামরুজ্জামান (অর্থনীতি বিভাগ)।

আমরা অত্যন্ত আনন্দের সাথে জানাচ্ছি যে , ১৮ ব্যাচকে নিয়ে ডিবেটিং সোসাইটি জাতীয় কবি কাজী নজরুল ইসলাম কর্তৃক আয়োজিত "বিপ্লবী ১৮ আন্তঃবিভাগ বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা ২০২৫" এ চ্যাম্পিয়ন হওয়ার গৌরব অর্জন করেছে অর্থনীতি বিভাগ । দলের সদস্যরা হলেন " নওরীন জাহান মৌ , তাসমিয়া তাবাসসুম অর্পিতা , মো: সামসিল আরেফিন "। পাশাপাশি ডিবেটার অফ দ্যা ফাইনাল হওয়ার গৌরব অর্জন করে অর্থনীতি বিভাগের নওরীন জাহান মৌ।

উক্ত প্রতিযোগিতায় মোট ২৪ টি টিম অংশ গ্রহণ করে। ৭ রাউন্ড বিতর্কের পর আনবিটেন চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয় অর্থনীতি বিভাগ।

Proud Moment for the Debating Club of Economics!

We are delighted to share that the Debating Club of Economics has reached the finals in two prestigious ongoing tournaments — Inter-Department (All Batch) and Inter-Department (18th Batch) competitions.

Team-Mughdo, consisting Kamrul, Shimul, and Shanta, has secured a place in the finals of the আইন বিতর্ক উৎসব ২০২৫ .

Meanwhile, Team-Satirus Paribas, featuring Mou, Arefin, and Orpita, has advanced to the finals of the "বিপ্লবী ১৮ আন্তঃবিভাগ বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা ২০২৫".

Congratulations to both teams on this remarkable achievement! And best of luck for the finals!

The Debating Club of Economics, Law Debating, and Forum: English Department Debate Club proudly hosted a Tri-Department Debate Fest featuring 8 competitive teams. Following 3 tab rounds, 4 teams advanced to the semifinals. We are pleased to announce that teams from the Economics and Law departments have secured their places in the final round. The grand final will be held soon.

A discussion meeting was held between the executive committee members of Debating Club of Economics and Professor Dr. Md. Bakhtiar Uddin, the Head of our Department as well as the Chief Advisor of the club. The meeting focused on the approval of the newly elected executive committee and a detailed discussion on the club’s future plans.
