With over 32 years of experience in the RMG industry, Md. Moshiul Azam Shajal stands as a seasoned and visionary leader, combining depth of experience with a practical, solution-driven approach. A graduate of Dhaka University, Mr. Shajal has held key leadership positions in BGMEA, including:

✅ Vice President (2019–2020)
As Managing Director of Fame Sweaters Ltd., Posmi Sweaters Ltd., and Spectra Sweaters Ltd., he has consistently championed responsible business practices and sustainable growth.
🔹 During his leadership, he has:
• Contributed to minimum wage negotiations and stimulus packages during global recessions
• Supported efforts that ensured duty-free access to Canada post-LDC transition
• Advocated for new market expansion into India, Latin America & Australia
• Promoted environmental sustainability and helped factories access climate finance
• Played a key role in COVID-era reopening strategies and helped establish PCR testing labs
• Currently serves on the Board of Trustees at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology

🔹 Actively involved in minimum wage negotiations and securing stimulus packages during the 2009–10 global economic recession.
🔹 Played a key role in maintaining duty-free access to Canada during Bangladesh’s post-LDC transition.
🔹 Advocated for diversification of export markets, expanding into India, Latin America, and Australia.
🔹 As Vice President, led initiatives on environmental sustainability, working with the government and development partners to promote green factories and climate finance access.
