From 1981 - 1985, I was with Lucy Holt at Chakrampur Jyoti Bhavan in Naogaon district, there we were 13 girls, she used to educate us, give moral education, teach cleanliness. She did the same way a mother nurtures her children. We all called Lucy mother. She also called the girls mother. We succumbed to her love and affection. She is a very pious man, and a friend of the poor and needy. She used to cry when he heard someone's suffering. Helping people was his regular job. If someone asked for help and could not give it, he would cry alone. She is a sign of human love. He did not give birth to me but I am eternally grateful for his love and affection. They affectionately call me Sindhu. I remember a funny incident today I smile, I was crying during my wedding, she was crying a lot seeing my tears and saying there is still time, you say that if the boy does not like, then this marriage will be stopped. I think this is a sign of the mother's genuine love for the girl. Lucy My heart is simple and a treasure of love. Immense love for every human being and for Bangladesh. We want to keep him alive in the hearts of the people of this country. The Mother Lucy Holt Society has been established in her name. She nominated me to hold it, but to sustain the works of this human mother, I am trying. Please pray for me to keep her alive through the Mother Lucy Holt Society.
Mr Sindhu Mandal.
