BASIS Students’ Forum IU Chapter successfully hosted the discussion webinar on the NASA International Space Apps Challenge on 10 February 2026. The session provided valuable insights into the global hackathon, participation benefits, team formation strategies, and preparation guidelines.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our speakers Sofikul Islam Robin for guiding the students about the basic rules and joining criteria and Shams Ul Arefin Nibir for inspiring students through his participation journey, achievements and experience. Their valuable experiences and knowledge truly motivated participants to explore innovation, teamwork, and real-world problem solving through the NASA Space Apps Challenge.
We also sincerely thank all the attendees for their enthusiastic participation and engagement, which made the session interactive and successful.

BASIS Students' Forum IU Chapter is pleased to organize a discussion webinar on the NASA International Space Apps Challenge, one of the largest global hackathons that brings together students, developers, designers, engineers, and innovators from around the world.

The NASA Space Apps Challenge is an annual event organized by NASA that encourages participants to solve real-world problems related to space exploration, Earth science, climate change, artificial intelligence, data science, and sustainability. Participants work in teams to create innovative solutions using NASA’s open data and resources. It is a great opportunity to develop problem-solving skills, teamwork experience, and technological innovation while connecting with a global community.
