Throwback to our project's learners presentation day! 💫 Our students stood tall and shared what they learned throughout the training sessions—with confidence, care, and courage.

Each team came up with its own motto, and honestly, they blew us away. One quote that stayed with all of us was:
"মাসিক স্বাভাবিক বিষয়, লজ্জা ভয় করবো জয়!"
(“Menstruation is natural, let’s overcome shame and fear.”)

So proud of each presenter and grateful for the energy they brought. These young voices are growing stronger every day—and we can’t wait to see where they go next. 💙

One year as a Young Fellow at Oxfam in Bangladesh has been a journey of listening, learning, and standing beside the adolescent girls of Koyra. What started as a menstrual health initiative turned into a movement of confidence, courage, and change. From discovering that many had no idea what menstruation was—to seeing them lead peer sessions, practice yoga, and speak without shame—we witnessed powerful shifts. This is more than a project. This is their story. This is our shared transformation.

6th Session: Empowering Girls with Advanced Menstrual Health Knowledge

A few days ago, we held our 6th training session with the amazing girls of Koyra, focusing on advanced menstrual health. Their curiosity and eagerness to learn were truly inspiring. They asked insightful questions, debunking myths and gaining a deeper understanding of their bodies. It’s empowering to see these young girls confidently take charge of their health. Grateful to my incredible team and volunteers for making this possible. This is just the beginning!

At Equal Tomorrow, we believe real change begins when girls are empowered with knowledge and confidence. In Koyra, a climate-vulnerable region, we’ve been working closely with adolescent girls to improve menstrual health and hygiene practices. Recently, we wrapped up our 5th training series, introducing yoga and posture techniques to help ease menstrual cramps and promote overall well-being.

A huge thank you to Pratigya Karki from Nepal, an international student at Khulna University, for leading the yoga sessions, and to our dedicated all-female volunteer including Asha Akter Sumi, Tamima Swarna, Maliha Anjum, Rabiya Boshri Akhi. From April 2025 through now, we’ve watched these girls transform—finding their voices, embracing their rights, and breaking barriers. This is not just about health; it's about dignity, confidence, and a future where no girl is held back.
