We have planted trees 210000 during 2010 to 2014 by involving teachers, students and communities. It is impossible to think of life without trees. Besides we get most of the elements of life from trees. A baby has inner relation with trees in all sphere of life from his cradle to tomb. Trees surround the environment with green shadow. Trees are the balanced of our environment. To reduce harmful im
pact trees are must. Trees are the inexpensive and easy way to reduce carbon dioxide from air. So, BEDS is suiting in tree plantation from formulated of BEDS. Present children are the future of next generation. Children will contribute to face future problems. So, we must build them properly. Friendly relation to environment with students should be created so that they become committed to save environment. So, every year BEDS is continuing tree plantation with school going students, teachers and guardians because only education can enrich human thoughts, knowledge and behaviour. Moreover, education is a wide spread network for disseminating the message. Not only BEDS our government also consider the tree plantation activities so every year our government organized National Tree Plantation Campaign and Tree Fair at every district at (5 June to 31 August) for tree plantation. This year our government tree plantation national slogan is “More Trees, More development” so our project have also assisted the government initiatives. The main objectives of our plantation activities are as follows:
To disseminate the information on the relation between trees and our daily life among the communities
To educate the students and communities about the function of tree
To provide message among students and communities about the proper technique, nursing and maintenance of tree through practical session
To save the coastal environment from natural disaster
To reduce CO2 and combat climate change through tree plantation
