Young, Loud, and Leading: Why SRHR Future Belongs to Its Youth in Bangladesh

Every day in Bangladesh, young people run into the same wall: their health, their bodies, and their futures are shaped by decisions made in rooms they are never invited into. Child marriage cuts educations short. Teenage pregnancies go unaddressed. Young people often do not know their rights well enough to claim them. Young people closest to SRHR challenges already hold the lived experience, local knowledge, and evidence needed for change. What has been missing is a shared platform to turn these scattered voices into coordinated and lasting action.

That is starting to change. Coordinated by RedOrange, youth leaders from the Youth Share-Net project’s seven partner organisations- Association of Voluntary Actions for Society (AVAS), DALIT, Prantoz Foundation, SERAC Bangladesh, Youth Action For Development (YAD), With She Foundation, and Young Power in Social Action (YPSA)- are coming together with youth advocates from Right Here Right Now (RHRN) and the National Youth Council on Population, Development, and SRHR (NYCPD-SRHR). Bringing together grassroots organisers and national-level voices, they will form the Youth Share-Net Forum- a shared network working to address SRHR challenges collectively rather than through separate organisational efforts. The Youth Share-Net project works across five divisions of Bangladesh under a three-year AmplifyChange Networking Grant (July 2025–June 2028).

WITH SHE Foundation is now officially registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.

This milestone marks a new chapter in our journey to advance menstrual hygiene, SRHR, and the safety and dignity of women in coastal Bangladesh. What began as a youth-led initiative born out of passion and persistence, carried forward through countless late nights, difficult conversations, and unwavering belief in our cause, has now taken formal shape.
Thanks to the trust and support of our volunteers, partners, and well-wishers.

To every girl who ever felt silenced, every woman who ever felt unseen, this recognition is for you. It's proof that grassroots dreams, when nurtured with sincerity, can grow into institutions that outlast us.

We remain committed to empowering communities, breaking the silence around menstrual health, and building a future where every woman's dignity is treated as a right, not a privilege.

WITH SHE joined the national observance of Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, standing alongside members of Bangladesh's Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) Platform.

Representing WITH SHE at the event was our Youth Advisor, Khalilur Rahman, who joined hands with the government, UNICEF, and development partners in renewing a shared commitment to building a , where menstrual health is recognised as a right, not a privilege. Our member, Aminul Islam Asik, also joined the event.

At WITH SHW, we believe dignity should never be conditional. Together, we can break the silence, challenge stigma, and ensure every girl and woman has access to safe, informed, and dignified menstrual health.

ন্যায্য ও নারীবাদী রূপান্তরে ক্ষুদ্র, মাঝারি ও তরুণ উদ্যোক্তাদের অনন্য অবদানকে স্বীকৃতি দিতে দ্বিতীয়বারের মতো ২০ জুন ActionAid Bangladesh আয়োজন করেছিলো ‘ফেমিনিস্ট গ্রিন অ্যাকশন অ্যাওয়ার্ড ২০২৬’। যেখানে WITH SHE Enterprise টপ সাতটি টিমের একটি হিসেবে জায়গা করে নেয়।

অনুষ্ঠানে WITH SHE Enterprise-এর পক্ষ থেকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন কো-ফাউন্ডার ও সিওও Jubayer Hasan Shoikat এবং মেন্টর Mehedi Hasan।
