Students from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Jashore University of Science and Technology (JUST), successfully completed the 9-day Industrial Training Program 2026 organized by Ulkasemi, held from 11 May to 21 May 2026.
The program brought together around 100 students from 10 universities, providing valuable exposure to the semiconductor industry and hands-on learning opportunities guided by experienced professionals.
Throughout the training, participants explored a wide range of technical and professional development topics highly relevant to modern electronics and chip design. Key learning areas included Design Verification, Analog Circuit Design, Design for Test (DFT), IC Physical Design (PnR), Foundry Technology & Design Services, and IC Mask Design (Digital & Analog). The training also featured essential career development sessions on CV Writing, Interview Preparation, Presentation Skills, and Public Speaking.
This experience significantly enhanced students’ understanding of industrial workflows, advanced semiconductor technologies, teamwork, and communication skills, preparing them for future careers in VLSI and chip design.
