🔥 GSTU CSE — UGV Onsite Contest Team Selection + Regular Programming Contest(3) 🔥
On 2 October 2026, GSTU Programming Club successfully organized two onsite programming contests as part of the team selection process for the upcoming UGV Onsite Contest on 10 October 2026. The contests were held separately for senior students and junior students (13th and 14th batches), bringing together enthusiastic teams for an exciting day of problem-solving, teamwork, and competitive spirit! 💻⚡
🏆 Through these contests, we aimed to identify talented teams while encouraging students from different batches to sharpen their problem-solving skills and strengthen their competitive programming abilities. 🚀
A special and heartfelt thanks to Nokibul Hasan Mojumder Tasir Bhai, who served as the problem setter for both contests. We are immensely grateful for his time, effort, and dedication in preparing both problem sets and making these contests possible. ❤️🤝
We hope these initiatives will strengthen our competitive programming community, inspire our juniors, and prepare our selected teams for the upcoming UGV Onsite Contest. 🔥

💻🌿 Software Freedom Day 2026 🌿💻

This year, to celebrate Software Freedom Day, we are organizing an exciting knowledge-sharing meetup at our campus! 🎉

The main goal of this meetup is to bring together senior and junior students who are passionate about Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), creating a space where we can share what we know, learn from each other, and help newcomers take their first steps into the world of Open Source and understand how these projects work. 🤝💡

We’ll explore the open-source projects and tools we use in our everyday lives, talk about how they work, why they matter, and take a moment to appreciate how much of the technology we use today is powered by the open-source community. 🌱💻

🔥 GSTU CSE Weekly Contest 26/01 🔥

Last Friday, 11 September 2026, GSTU Programming Club hosted the first contest of this session under our ongoing Weekly Programming Contest series, bringing together 17 teams for an exciting day of problem-solving, teamwork, and competitive spirit! 💻⚡

🏆Weekly Champions — Team Jhalmuri
With an impressive 11 problems solved, Team Jhalmuri secured the top spot and became the champion of the contest! 🥇

🥈 2nd Place — Team BSMRSTU_aRCANES...
A strong performance with 10 problems solved!

🥉 3rd Place — Team Optiverese
Securing the 3rd position with 7 problems solved!

🌟 Weekly young stars(2024–25) — Team Pronob_majmunder
Finishing 4th overall with 6 problems solved, Team Pronob_majmunder emerged as the highest-solving team among the junior batch. 🎉

Congratulations to all the teams for their incredible efforts! 👏

As a token of appreciation for their outstanding performance, medals were presented to the weekly champions and the weekly young stars. 🏅
