📢 মানবাধিকার, জবাবদিহিতা ও নাগরিক সমাজের ভূমিকা শক্তিশালীকরণে একসাথে

🇧🇩🇧🇩 লাইট আপ বাংলাদেশ (LUB) সম্প্রতি "অ্যাডভোকেসি, জবাবদিহিতা এবং মানবাধিকার প্রতিষ্ঠায় নাগরিক সমাজের ভূমিকা" বিষয়ক তিন দিনব্যাপী একটি কর্মশালায় অংশগ্রহণ করেছে। কর্মশালায় বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেওয়া হয় শিশু অধিকার, মতপ্রকাশের স্বাধীনতা এবং অনলাইন নিরাপত্তা বিষয়গুলোর উপর।

🎖️🎖️ কর্মশালাটি আয়োজন করে আইন ও সালিশ কেন্দ্র (ASK)। এতে কারিগরি সহায়তা প্রদান করে Terre des Hommes Netherlands (TdH NL) এবং অর্থায়ন করে ইউরোপীয় ইউনিয়ন (European Union) যা গাজীপুর সিটির PTI অডিটোরিয়ামে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়।

📌📌 এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ প্রশিক্ষণে বিভিন্ন নাগরিক সমাজ সংগঠনের প্রতিনিধিরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন এবং মানবাধিকারভিত্তিক অ্যাডভোকেসি, জবাবদিহিতা নিশ্চিতকরণ, শিশু সুরক্ষা, ডিজিটাল নিরাপত্তা এবং মতপ্রকাশের স্বাধীনতা রক্ষার বিষয়ে জ্ঞান ও দক্ষতা অর্জন করেন।

📢 Strengthening Advocacy, Accountability, and Human Rights

🇧🇩🇧🇩 Light Up Bangladesh (LUB) proudly participated in a three-day workshop on "Advocacy, Accountability, and the Role of Civil Society in Human Rights", with a special focus on Children's Rights, Freedom of Expression, and Online Safety.
The workshop was organized by Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK), technically led by Terre des Hommes Netherlands (TdH NL), and funded by the European Union. The event was held at the PTI Auditorium, Gazipur City.

💯💯 This valuable learning opportunity brought together representatives from civil society organizations to enhance their understanding of human rights advocacy, accountability mechanisms, child protection, digital safety, and the importance of safeguarding freedom of expression in today's rapidly evolving society.

🎖️🎖️ As a community-focused organization, Light Up Bangladesh remains committed to promoting human rights, empowering youth, protecting children, and creating safer and more inclusive communities through awareness, advocacy, and grassroots engagement.

🇧🇩🇧🇩 বাংলাদেশজুড়ে শিশু নির্যাতন, সহিংসতা ও ভয়াবহ অপরাধ বৃদ্ধির ঘটনা অত্যন্ত উদ্বেগজনক। প্রতিটি শিশুর অধিকার নিরাপদ পরিবেশে বেড়ে ওঠা, শেখা ও স্বপ্ন দেখার — ভয়, নির্যাতন ও অনিরাপত্তার মধ্যে নয়।

💯💯 Light Up Bangladesh মনে করে, এটি শুধু আইনশৃঙ্খলার বিষয় নয়; এটি পুরো সমাজের দায়িত্ব। নীরবতা, সচেতনতার অভাব, পারিবারিক দূরত্ব, অনলাইন ঝুঁকি, মাদকাসক্তি ও নৈতিক অবক্ষয় আমাদের সমাজকে ধীরে ধীরে ভয়াবহ পরিস্থিতির দিকে নিয়ে যাচ্ছে।

এই পরিস্থিতি মোকাবেলায় Light Up Bangladesh (LUB) নতুন কিছু কমিউনিটি-ভিত্তিক ক্যাম্পেইন শুরু করার পরিকল্পনা গ্রহণ করেছে, যার মধ্যে থাকবে—

🔹 প্যারেন্টিং ও পারিবারিক যোগাযোগ বিষয়ক সেশন

🤝🤝 আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, সচেতনতা, মানবিকতা ও সম্মিলিত উদ্যোগই পারে ভবিষ্যৎ প্রজন্মকে নিরাপদ রাখতে। পরিবার, শিক্ষক, যুবসমাজ, স্থানীয় নেতৃত্ব ও সামাজিক সংগঠনগুলোকে একসাথে কাজ করতে হবে।

The increasing incidents of child abuse, violence, and aggressive crimes across Bangladesh are deeply alarming. Every child deserves a safe environment to grow, learn, and dream — not fear, trauma, and insecurity.

At Light Up Bangladesh (LUB), we believe this is not only a law enforcement issue; it is a social responsibility. Silence, lack of awareness, broken family communication, online risks, drug abuse, and moral disconnection are gradually pushing our society toward a dangerous direction.

In response, Light Up Bangladesh is preparing to launch new community-based campaign strategies focusing on:

🎖️🎖️ Light Up Bangladesh গর্বের সাথে Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC)-এর উদ্যোগে পরিচালিত বছরব্যাপী “জাগরণ” ক্যাম্পেইনে যুক্ত হয়েছে, যার প্রতিপাদ্য — “Transforming Youth into Leaders for Community Engagement”।

📌📌 এই কার্যক্রমের অংশ হিসেবে কোনাবাড়ী আইডিয়াল হাই স্কুলের গার্লস একাডেমিক ইউনিটে কমিউনিটি ম্যাপিং বিষয়ক একটি ফোকাসড গ্রুপ ডিসকাশন (FGD) সফলভাবে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছে।

🇧🇩🇧🇩 যুব নেতৃত্ব, নাগরিক সচেতনতা এবং কমিউনিটি সম্পৃক্ততা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে পরিচালিত এই ৩০ মাসব্যাপী উদ্যোগটি BYLC-এর নেতৃত্বে YPSA ও Agrogoti Sangstha-এর অংশীদারিত্বে বাস্তবায়িত হচ্ছে। প্রকল্পটি কানাডা ও সুইজারল্যান্ড সরকারের সহায়তায় এবং GFA Consulting Group GmbH-এর অর্থায়নে পরিচালিত হচ্ছে। 🌱

Light Up Bangladesh is proud to join the year-long Jaagoron Campaign under the initiative of Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC) through the campaign “Transforming Youth into Leaders for Community Engagement.”

As part of this journey, a focused Group Discussion (FGD) for Community Mapping was successfully conducted at the Girls’ Academic Unit of Konabari Ideal High School.

The 30-month youth-led civic engagement initiative aims to strengthen civic awareness, leadership development, and meaningful community participation among youth. The project is led by BYLC in partnership with YPSA and Agrogoti Sangstha, with support from the governments of Canada and Switzerland and funding from GFA Consulting Group GmbH. 🌱

🇧🇩🇧🇩 লাইট আপ বাংলাদেশ (LUB)-এর কোর টিমের এক আন্তরিক পুনর্মিলনী — যেখানে নতুনভাবে সংযুক্ত হলো চিন্তা, লক্ষ্য ও অঙ্গীকার। 🌱

এই বিশেষ টিম বিল্ডিং গেটঅ্যাওয়েতে একত্রিত হয়েছিলেন সেই সকল নিবেদিতপ্রাণ সদস্যরা, যারা গার্মেন্টস কমিউনিটির ১৫–২৫ বছর বয়সী তরুণদের জন্য টেকসই ক্যারিয়ার উন্নয়ন, মানসিক স্বাস্থ্য সচেতনতা এবং নেতৃত্ব বিকাশমূলক উদ্যোগ নিয়ে কাজ করছেন।

🌐🌐 আলোচনা, অভিজ্ঞতা বিনিময় এবং ভবিষ্যৎ পরিকল্পনার মাধ্যমে এই মিলনমেলা আমাদের পারস্পরিক মূল্যবোধ, দায়িত্ববোধ এবং ভবিষ্যৎ কার্যক্রমকে আরও শক্তিশালী করেছে। 🤝

💯💯 LUB বিশ্বাস করে — শক্তিশালী দলই পারে শক্তিশালী সমাজ গড়তে। এই পুনর্মিলনী শুধুমাত্র একটি আড্ডা ছিল না; এটি ছিল আগামী দিনের তরুণ সমাজকে অনুপ্রাণিত, সহায়তা এবং ক্ষমতায়নের এক নবায়িত অঙ্গীকার। ✨

A meaningful reunion of the Core Team of Light Up Bangladesh (LUB) — reconnecting minds, reviving visions, and strengthening our commitment towards empowering youth within garment communities. 🌱

This special team-building getaway brought together passionate individuals dedicated to sustainable career development, mental health awareness, and youth leadership initiatives for young people aged 15–25.

Through shared conversations, reflections, and future planning, the gathering helped reinforce our common values, responsibilities, and collective vision for creating long-term positive impact. 🤝

At LUB, we believe strong teamwork creates stronger communities. This reunion was not just a get-together — it was a renewed promise to continue inspiring, supporting, and uplifting the next generation.

🇧🇩🇧🇩 We proudly represented Light Up Bangladesh (LUB) as a Civil Society Organization (CSO) in a three-day residential training on Advocacy, Accountability, and Human Rights held from 19–21 April 2026 in Gazipur.

🎖️🎖️ Organized by Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK), with support from Terre des Hommes Netherlands and funding from the European Union, the program focused on key issues including child rights, freedom of expression, and online safety.

🙏🙏 This experience has strengthened our commitment to creating a safer, more informed, and empowered future for the youth and communities we serve.

🇧🇩🇧🇩 On 26 February 2026, Light Up Bangladesh (LUB) had the privilege of attending an insightful workshop organized by Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) and funded by the European Union (EU) and Led by Terres De Hommes Netherlands (TdhNL).

💯💯 The session focused on the crucial topic of protecting children and youth in the digital space. It created a meaningful platform to learn, exchange ideas, and strengthen collaboration among stakeholders working in social development and child protection.

📍📍 The workshop, held at Gazipur Press Club, brought together government officials, civil society organizations, law enforcement agencies, media professionals, and other key stakeholders from both public and private sectors.

🎖️🎖️ LUB remains committed to working collaboratively to ensure safer digital environments for our young generation and to promote awareness, protection, and responsible digital engagement.

তরুণ প্রজন্মের জন্য নিরাপদ ডিজিটাল পরিবেশ নিশ্চিত করতে এবং সচেতনতা, সুরক্ষা ও দায়িত্বশীল ডিজিটাল ব্যবহারে সহযোগিতামূলকভাবে কাজ করার জন্য LUB প্রতিশ্রুতিবদ্ধ।

🇧🇩 আমাদের কোমপ্রিহেনসিভ লাইফ স্কিলস ট্রেনিং প্রোগ্রাম–এর অংশ হিসেবে শুরু হয়েছে কম্পিউটার স্কিল ট্রেনিং, যা তরুণদের আজকের চাকরির প্রতিযোগিতামূলক বিশ্বে সফল হতে সহায়তা করার লক্ষ্যে একটি সম্পূর্ণ অলাভজনক ও যুগান্তকারী উদ্যোগ।

💯 বেসিক কম্পিউটার অপারেশন থেকে শুরু করে চাকরি-কেন্দ্রিক ডিজিটাল দক্ষতা—এই প্রশিক্ষণের মূল উদ্দেশ্য:
