১৬ ডিসেম্বর—বাংলাদেশের ইতিহাসে এক গৌরবময় মাইলফলক। রক্তক্ষয়ী সংগ্রাম, অগণিত ত্যাগ আর অসীম সাহসের বিনিময়ে অর্জিত স্বাধীনতা আজও আমাদের অনুপ্রেরণার শিখা হয়ে জ্বলে রয়েছে। এই দিনে আমরা স্মরণ করি সেই বীর শহীদদের, যাদের আত্মত্যাগে লালসবুজের পতাকা মাথা উঁচু করে বিশ্বদরবারে উড়ে।

বিজয়ের এই পবিত্র দিনে বাংলাদেশ স্কাউটসের পক্ষ থেকে সকল শহীদ ও মুক্তিযোদ্ধাদের প্রতি নিবেদন গভীর শ্রদ্ধা। দেশপ্রেম, শৃঙ্খলা, সেবা ও মানবতার মূলনীতিতে দাঁড়িয়ে স্কাউটরা আজও প্রতিজ্ঞাবদ্ধ—দেশকে ভালোবাসার, মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর, এবং স্বাধীনতার মূল্য ধরে রাখার।
