Two years of humiliating myself on OnlyFans are finally over
Hi, I’m Emily. I’m from a small town about 50 km outside Manchester.
Two years ago, I decided to move to Manchester to try and build a better life for myself. I knew there wasn’t really much of a future for me back home.
My mum gave me £4,000 so I could rent a place for a while and have some time to find a job.
I rented a small flat in Longsight for £950 a month and started actively looking for work. And honestly, that’s when the first real problems started…
People either tried to scam me out of my money or offered me jobs that barely paid enough to cover food and bills, let alone rent…
Then, after paying my rent again, I was down to just £310. I needed to figure out a way to make some money, and fast.
I reached out to an old friend of mine, and she suggested a way out of the situation — trying OnlyFans.
At first, I completely lost it with her.
“How could you even suggest something like that?!”
But after I’d had some time to calm down, I realised I didn’t really have much of a choice. Either I gave it a go, or I went back home feeling like a complete failure…
I signed up, uploaded a few photos and started looking for my first subscribers. Luckily, I was fairly attractive, so it didn’t take long before people started messaging me.
In my first month, I made just over £1,400, which was enough to cover my rent and basic bills.
After a while, I got more used to it and started making around £1,800–£2,200 a month on average.
I ended up doing it for almost two years, and honestly, I can’t imagine a worse job.
I completely lost the respect I had for myself from constantly dealing with men. All those hundreds of photos and videos I made… it’s a shame I’ll never forget.
My mum found out about it about six months later. She rang me and said:
“You can forget about coming back here. You don’t belong here anymore.”
Over the last couple of months, I started having breakdowns and panic attacks. I knew I couldn’t carry on like this. Something had to change, and fast.
The problem was that finding a decent job was going to take time, and I barely had any savings left after all the regular appointments with my therapist and the expensive medication.
One evening, I was lying on the sofa completely drained. I didn’t feel like doing anything — not living, not cooking, not even getting up to have a shower. I was just mindlessly scrolling through Facebook.
Then I saw an advert:

I scrolled past it.
Then I saw it again.
“…..to celebrate the launch, we’re increasing the chances of winning for all new players…..”
I thought to myself:
“Oh my God, what even is this? Why does this keep showing up on my feed?”
Out of curiosity, I started reading through the comments. They seemed like ordinary people — young lads, mums with kids, all sorts of people.
“Thanks! I put in £30 and withdrew £1,300.”
“Your app helped us pay off our mortgage.”
Curiosity got the better of me. I downloaded the app and put in £40.
The first few spins were a complete waste. But towards the end, I somehow managed to win £450.
I withdrew it, and about 10 minutes later, I got a notification from Monzo:

“Well, that’s pretty mad. I’d have to take a few dozen new photos just to make that kind of money.”
After that, I decided to check it out every now and then, just to make my boring evenings a little less depressing.
Fast-forward to last week.
I got back from my therapist, lay down on the sofa and opened the app.
Three spins in — BOOM! A bonus popped up. Then a x50 multiplier appeared straight away.
I was so bloody excited. I was squeezing my phone so hard, as if somehow that was going to help the symbols line up 😂
A few more spins went by with nothing happening… I held my breath, hoping for some kind of miracle…
And then — BAM!
A x250 multiplier hit, and the whole screen filled up with crowns.
The screen started flashing “SENSATIONAL”, and then the final win amount appeared…
£33,000
That was an insane amount of money. Enough for me to finally walk away from my so-called “job” for good.
I requested the withdrawal, clasped my hands together and quietly said to myself:
“Please… let this be real. Please don’t let this turn out to be some kind of mistake or scam.”
I went to bed and somehow managed to fall asleep.
When I woke up, I was honestly scared to even pick up my phone. For the first time in a long time, I actually had some hope for a better life. I was terrified that it was all going to turn out to be a mistake.
I picked up my phone and saw the notification from the bank:

My heart started beating twice as fast.
“God… thank you…”
I just kept saying it to myself over and over.
The first thing I did was go back to that bloody site and delete my account. I don’t have to keep humiliating myself just to make money anymore. It’s over.
Right now, I’m looking for a normal, decent job that I can stick with long-term. If anyone knows of a good opportunity in Manchester, feel free to DM me.
Honestly, I have no idea what happened. Maybe I just got insanely lucky, or maybe the casino really does give new players better chances of winning.
