It’s a non-profit voluntary platform for supporting the poor. The economic advancement of Bangladesh for the last few decades is quite impressive among the least developing countries and it has every potential to become a middle income country soon even though a capitalistic economy, and poor governance impede establishing social justice and equity. The poor are not able to come out of the vicious
cycle of poverty mainly due to lack of education, income opportunities, medical support along with other socio-economic resources. A large section of the society remains excluded from the basic requirements and are continuously struggling for survival in this so-called commercial world. Just ask yourself; as a citizen of this country, do I have any obligation towards them? As a human being, do I feel the urge to stand beside them? We often discuss such issues over a cup of tea and then forget our social responsibilities. In one magical moment, we were united and framed our thoughts under the banner of Beyond the Horizon. We five, joined hands to work for the helpless people to change their lives as a part of our social responsibilities as human beings. This is purely a voluntary charity initiative which started from our own resources without having any intention for personal gain. Our strengths are honesty, unity and love for the people around us. Many of you will find this as an exemplary instant and will come forward to join us on this platform with the same aspiration. Our motivation
We strongly believe that a little support might save one’s life. What is little for us can be a big support for the people who are in need. We cannot change the entire system and establish the rights for all ensuring equity, but at least we can put our honest efforts in bringing small but qualitative changes in the life of a few. We want to do something for the poor with our own capacity, knowledge, experience and honesty. How we work
We work wherever there is a real prospective to help. We will diversify our initiatives and include income generating activities, scholarship/ sponsorship for brilliant but poor students, health support through health camps and distribution of medicine, supporting aged and young promising people. We ensure transparency at every step. It is a collective effort and you are welcome to contribute to support the helpless people through us. How you can contribute
