Exploring the Future of Semiconductors at the DSI Information Session ✨

The DSI Information Session, organized by the IEEE Electron Devices Society BRACU Student Branch Chapter in collaboration with the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), BRAC University, brought together students to explore the rapidly growing world of VLSI and semiconductor engineering.

The session highlighted the current landscape of Bangladesh's semiconductor industry, emerging career opportunities in digital design and verification, and the technical skills required to thrive in the field. From RTL design, FPGA development, and verification engineering to AI hardware acceleration, students gained valuable insights into the diverse career paths within VLSI.

The speakers also shared practical guidance on DSI's recruitment process, industry expectations, and the importance of strengthening fundamentals in digital logic, Verilog, and computer architecture while continuously learning beyond the classroom.

A heartfelt thank you to our distinguished speakers for sharing their expertise and inspiring the next generation of semiconductor engineers. The 𝗜𝗻𝗮𝘂𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 of the IEEE Electron Devices Society BRACU Student Branch Chapter was successfully held on 22 April 2026 at the EEE Conference Room, BRAC University.

We were honored to have 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔.𝗞.𝗠. 𝗔𝗯𝗱𝘂𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗸 𝗔𝘇𝗮𝗱, Counselor of IEEE BRAC University Student Branch, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗧𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗮, Chapter Advisor of IEEE BRACU EDS, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗱. This program aims to provide practical exposure to the Semiconductor and VLSI industry, helping students gain valuable industry insights and hands-on learning experience beyond the classroom.
