The AIUB Finance Club Inauguration and Member Orientation Ceremony marked a significant and inspiring beginning, bringing together academic excellence, professional insight, and a shared vision for the future of finance.
The event proudly introduced the first-ever Executive Committee, laying the foundation for leadership, innovation, and long-term impact. We were deeply honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor, AIUB; Dr. S. A. M. Manzur H. Khan, Proctor, AIUB; Dr. Mohammad Faridul Alam, Professor and Director (MBA Program); along with esteemed faculty members of AIUB, whose support added immense value to this milestone occasion.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our distinguished guest, Mr. Mahbubul Islam Mazumder, Executive Director and Head of Cash Management, Standard Chartered Bank, for sharing valuable industry insights. The session was further enriched by thought-provoking contributions from our respected faculty members: Sayeed Ibrahim Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Department of Finance; Dr. Mohammed Kamrul Hasan, Associate Professor, Department of Finance; and Nabila Wahid, Lecturer, Department of Finance.
We were privileged to have the guidance of our respected mentors: Bohi Shajahan, Senior Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Finance; and Quazi Nur Alam, Assistant Professor, Department of Finance, whose continued support inspires our journey forward.
We are equally grateful for the presence of respected faculty members: Stanley Sumon Rodrick, Associate Professor, Department of Marketing and Special Assistant, OSA; Hamidul Islam, Associate Professor, Department of Marketing and Special Assistant, OSA; Samia Shabnaz, Senior Assistant Professor, Department of Management; Nusrat Nowreen Srabonty, Lecturer, Department of Management; and Iftekhar Mahmud, Lecturer, Department of English, whose encouragement further strengthened the spirit of the event.
The ceremony featured a symbolic cake-cutting moment, celebrating the beginning of a promising chapter, along with a captivating cultural performance by the AIUB Performing Arts Club (APAC). We sincerely appreciate their efforts in adding vibrancy to the event.
Special appreciation goes to the wonderful hosts of the event, Fatin Binte Raihan and Bhuiyan Rifat, for their engaging and seamless presentation.
