We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved mentor, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌. 𝐇. 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐫; who left us today July 7, 2026 at 3:50 AM.

A respected former 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 and the 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞-𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐫 of 𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗧, he dedicated his life to education, leadership and nation-building. His vision and guidance shaped 𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗧 and inspired thousands of students and colleagues.

May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him Jannatul Ferdaws and give strength to his family and the entire 𝗔𝗨𝗦𝗧 community.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, Vice Chancellor of AUST and Prof. Dr. Md. Shariful Islam, Head of the Advisor of Students' Welfare; AUST for granting us permission to establish the 𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥 (𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐂).

This marks a significant milestone for AUST, as the university is now officially capable of organizing and hosting 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐌𝐔𝐍) 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬.

We look forward to creating opportunities for students to develop their leadership, diplomacy, public speaking and negotiation skills through 𝐌𝐔𝐍 activities.
