Proud Moment for BUET & KUET!

A remarkable achievement for both Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and Khulna University of Engineering & Technology!

Team "Aqua-Verde", consisting of students from BUET and KUET, secured the 1st Runner-up position among more than 300 submissions worldwide in the prestigious Nature-based Future Challenge 2026, organized by Wageningen University & Research (WUR), The Netherlands.

Adding to this outstanding success, the team also won the Social Media Championship Award for achieving the highest social media engagement throughout the competition.

This achievement is a testament to the talent, innovation, and collaborative spirit of students from both BUET and KUET. Their success not only brings pride to their respective institutions but also showcases the capability of Bangladeshi engineers and researchers on the global stage.

Congratulations to Team Aqua-Verde on this well-deserved recognition. Wishing all team members continued success in their academic and professional journeys.
