WAMY Delegation Visits JSK Projects under “Explore Bangladesh” Trip
As part of the “Explore Bangladesh” visit, a delegation from WAMY visited the Jano Seba Kendra Dhaka office and project sites to gain firsthand insight into the organization's humanitarian and development interventions.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on JSK’s efforts to improve access to safe drinking water, sanitation facilities, hygiene awareness, in-kind gift distribution, and seasonal and emergency assistance for vulnerable communities. The team also visited project locations where they observed WASH facilities and engaged with community members, beneficiaries, and field staff to better understand the impact and effectiveness of these initiatives.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences on sustainable WASH programming, humanitarian response, community engagement, and public health promotion. The delegation expressed appreciation for the commitment of JSK’s field teams and the positive changes being achieved through these interventions.
